UNIX is Love, UNIX is life

I hate my life. Yea, I have some good things in my life, but the only thing i love is Unix, BSD, Linux systems. But why?

Mainly, it`s understandable. Instead of "let`s guess my mood today" it "says" to you: "kernel panic? enable nvme support, stupid son of the bitch". If something in your system is broken, YOU broke that. It`s overpredictable, hackable and flexible. Do what you want, how you want. Want write a website in code editor from 1993? Just install plan9port bro, i`m literally typing this text in acme. Want to replace boot loader? Let`s go, grub is shit, replace it with rEFInd(nvm why im using grub).

The main problem about that you need to use your brain for that. Not microslop, not Apple engineers brain. Thats not hard, it takes time, but it is not problem. The problem is that you will start think different.

Why you need that? I don`t know. Really. If you don`t know how to reinstall your operating system, than give me your pc and go playing mobile games, because if you don`t need unix - you don`t need a pc. If you need adobeslop or something like that(i feel sorry for you) then buy macbook or install hackintosh. Apple have done huge work - they made OSes for everyday usage for ALL people, except gamers(if you are a gamer, buy a playstation or kill youself idk). On MacOS you can work or study with perfect made OS. Really. Best design, best performance(if we are looking in built-in os) - all is MacOS. But it costs more than my family, but if you need - you buy(bro you must buy vibecoded slop called windows, MacOS wiill be better anyway). I don`t support buying a software, but if you are a bit stupid or have job(what`s this?) you need a bit 'normal' OS.
